It was a pleasure to welcome Lawrence to Crealy as he began his tour. We were delighted to give him the opportunity to experience Rotor ahead of its official opening later this month. With both Rotor and Pirates’ Plummet nominated for Best New Attraction, it is an incredibly exciting year for Crealy. We are also incredibly proud of all our other nominations, which recognise the hard work and dedication of our entire team.

Founder of UK Theme Park awards, Lawrence Roots, kicks off his Theme Park road trip here at Crealy

2,000 miles, 15 days & 37 Parks

To celebrate voting opening, Lawrence is taking on his biggest challenge yet. Over the next 15 days, he'll be travelling more than 2,000 miles on an epic road trip across the UK, visiting every Park nominated in this year's awards.

From coast to coast, he'll be experiencing some of the UK's best attractions, meeting fellow industry teams and sharing the adventure along the way. It's a fantastic opportunity to celebrate everything that makes the UK theme park industry so special - and of course, fly the Theme Park award flag wherever he goes.

It was fabulous to kick off the tour at Crealy and I'd like to thank their staff for such a warm welcome. It was amazing to get to help test their new ride ROTOR ahead of its opening later in July. ROTOR & Pirates' Plummet are both up for the Best New Attraction award.
