Caring for those with disabilities and additional needs
Crealy Theme Park & Resort has been designed for guests with disabilities and/or additional access needs firmly in mind. All of our team are trained and enabled to recognise the individual needs of our guests and will do everything possible to ensure all guests with additional needs have a safe and memorable visit.
Carers Admission Rates
Guests with a proven disability are able to purchase a discounted entry ticket for their carer at the rate of 50%.
Proof in the form of documents issued by either Department for Work & Pensions or Disability Living Allowance will only be accepted as proof of disability and this has to be accompanied by photo ID.
Our policy is designed to accommodate all disabilities, some of which are not easily identifiable and therefore to avoid any unintentional offence, ID is requested on all occasions.
Carers must be at least 16 years of age and of sufficient fitness to provide the level of care required. For everyone’s safety, if the disabled person requires lifting, this will be the responsibility of his or her carer.
In addition to the discounted entry ticket, we offer a free ride access pass for guests who due to their disability are unable to use the regular ride queue lines.
Please note – The 50% off discount is valid on day tickets only and not on Annual Passes.
Buying Tickets/Entering the Theme Park
Guests who have the following documentation are entitled to one free carer ticket:
1. Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance award letter (dated within the last 12 months).
2. Personal Independence Payment Letter (dated within the last 12 months).
Please Note - The documentation above, must be presented alongside valid photographic ID for the named recipient. Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue carer tickets without seeing the above documentation. Please show the relevant paperwork at the ticket kiosk when you buy or collect your ticket.
If the documentation specifies that a higher number of carers are needed, more than one free carer ticket can be issued.
The guest with the disability and any further members of the party will need to pay full price to enter the Theme Park.
Ride Access Pass
At Crealy Theme Park & Resort, we recognise that certain guests may require additional assistance in order to fully enjoy their visit, so to help we offer free Ride Access Passes. This service is designed to make reasonable adjustments to assist guests who have a recognised medical condition which prevents them from being able to queue for a particular ride or attraction.
This service is available to:
- Guests who are wheelchair dependent
- Guests who experience difficulties with queuing or those who may not understand the concept of queuing or are unable to queue for any lengthy period.
- Guests that have a physical disability that may impede the queuing experience
This allows the disabled person and their carer(s) to access rides as quickly as possible enabling them to enjoy a full day out. The ride access pass gives the disabled person and up to 4 other people access to the rides via the ride exit. This can only be used once per ride, per day.
Guests who qualify for the Ride Access Pass scheme must provide some form of documentation stating the nature of the disability. Ride Access Passes will only be issued based upon documented proof of disability such as a GP’s letter, association membership details, council run membership or anything from an official body that helps us understand how the nature of yours or a party members disability may affect you in a theme park environment.
- We do not accept blue or orange badges as proof as they do not fully explain the nature of any disability.
- Although we don’t expect any carer to ride, they will be required to be in attendance when the Ride Access Pass is being used.

It is the guest's responsibility to observe and obey any and all instructions on the boards and within this guide before entering the ride.
