Kitchen Assistant

Our Food & Beverage Team helps to deliver delicious food experiences for our Theme Park and Resorts guests every day during their visit.
We are looking for experienced kitchen Assistants to work in our Fish and Chips, Sootys Diner, and Buddy’s Picnic Basket outlets.
It is expected that you’ll deliver service to the highest standard, ensuring we exceed the expectations of all our guests through preparation, production, and service. The kitchen is a fast-paced environment where speed, quality, and teamwork are essential.
You are expected to be role models in delivering exceptional guest interactions whilst:
- Preparing food for outlets.
- Daily cleaning of kitchen and preparation areas
- Actively seek ways to keep wastage at a minimum.
- Putting away deliveries and stock.
Previous experience in working in either a Fish and Chips shop or Fast-Food environment is desirable or previous experience working in a kitchen is necessary. First-class training will be given but a passion for customer service and a great attitude towards learning new things is a must. If you do not already hold level 1 or 2 Food Hygiene qualifications, then we will provide this with our onsite training.
The ideal candidate will:
- A passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences.
- Comfort working outside in all weather.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Confidence when interacting with the public.
- Willingness to undertake Health and Safety training and assessments.
The Details
- Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour (based on age)
- Hours: Seasonal role, including weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays. Shifts will be rostered in advance,
