Ahead of our 2018 Recruitment Fair, we chat to a member of our Team to provide more detail about what it's like to work here and how he has carved his career during his time as part of the Crealy Crew. Let's meet Simon, one of our Duty Managers.
How long have you worked at Crealy?
I have worked at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort for 9 years, starting in September 2008.
Which department do you work in?
When I first started working at Crealy, I was positioned in the Gift Shop and Admissions before moving across departments and joining the Photography Team.

Whilst carrying out routine maintenance work ahead of this year’s Halloween celebrations, workers at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort have found what are believed to be Roman burial chambers.
The discovery was made this week when a team of workers were digging in the grounds of the park’s Creaky Hotel.
Following the mysterious discovery, Crealy contacted expert ghost searching team Spook Searches to ask for their assistance. Whilst at the site, the experts were baffled to discover that the burial chambers were empty, with Head Spook Searcher, Chris Watson, stating,

Join us this May half term and climb aboard the brand new giddy galleon with Captain Crealy and his shipmates! Unlike other pirate ship rides, The Jolly Roger rocks and spins simultaneously, so riders really do feel like they are on high seas.

Crealy Adventure Park & Resort launched two brand new features for the Easter holidays - the new Junior Driving School ride and the theme park’s first Pop in the Park event.
Pop in the Park saw Adele, Bruno Mars, Madonna and Gary Barlow tribute acts singing their top hits on the stage and working the crowd, at the first event of its kind. Crealy visitors of all ages enjoyed singing and dancing along to their favourite songs in the sunshine.

Crealy Adventure Park & Resort has raised £10,000 for the WESC Foundation, a specialist day and residential centre for young people and adults with visual impairment including complex needs in Exeter, Devon. The year-long fundraising campaign, Wheels 4 WESC, aimed to raise funds towards a new minibus which thanks to the success of the partnership has now been purchased.
