Terms and conditions

We allow entry to those visitors who are willing to comply with the Park regulations set out below. We are sure that you will wish to assist Crealy Theme Park & Resort  in ensuring the Park and facilities remain a safe place in which to enjoy a fun and exciting experience. Whilst inside the Park all visitors must comply with any instructions given to them by any Crealy Theme Park & Resort team member.

All persons entering the Park must pay for admission or hold a valid admission ticket. If re-entry into the Park is required, you must obtain an appropriate hand stamp, before exiting the Park which must be shown at the time of re-entry to gain access to the Park.

Crealy Theme Park & Resort may choose to carry out random bag checks at the point of admission and confiscate any of the following items.

• Alcohol
• Illegal substances
• Knives or any other item deemed to be dangerous.

Any person found to be in the possession of an article deemed to be offensive or dangerous would be immediately escorted from the Park without the right to refund and be open to prosecution.

• Guests must wear appropriate clothing (including a top and shoes) at all times whilst at the Attraction. If guests are wearing clothing that is indecent or likely to cause offence in any way, they will be refused entry or removed from the Attraction without a refund.  Certain items of clothing may not be permitted on some rides for health and safety reasons.
• Admission tickets are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and void if altered. Admission tickets will only be exchanged or refunded at Crealy Theme Park & Resort's discretion.
• Due to the terms of our zoo license, dogs and other animals cannot be admitted to the Theme Park. You will be asked to provide documentation of registration for the service dog. They must be wearing a labelled vest at all times (service dogs in training are not permitted on the park).
• The consumption of alcohol is permitted only in authorised places within the Park. Accordingly, alcohol may not be taken into the Park.
• Crealy Theme Park & Resort is a non-smoking/vaping park. There is one designated smoking area on the park.  The Dome behind the Carousel this is the only area where smoking / Vaping is allowed. Smoking or Vaping is not permitted in any other outdoor spaces including ride queue-lines. The policy above also applies to all e-cigarettes.
• Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol may be refused admission to the Park or escorted from the Park without right to refund.
• The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited, and any persons found possessing, using or who appear to be under the influence of illegal substances will be refused admission or escorted from the Park without right to a refund.
• Crealy will endeavour to ensure that as many rides and attractions as possible are available for use by guests. Crealy Theme Park & Resort reserve the right, without prior notice and without refund or compensation to close and/or chance the programme of rides and attractions and/or the Park's operation hours. All rides, attractions, amusements, transport systems and other facilities must only be used in accordance with the operator's instructions.
• Climbing or standing upon fences, barriers, walls, safety fences, rock arrangements, ride structures, exhibits or buildings is strictly prohibited. Crealy Theme Park & Resort reserves the right to prosecute any person found damaging or defacing any part of the grounds, fences, barriers, walls, ride structures, exhibits, fabrics, or buildings and to initiate legal proceedings if appropriate.
• No vehicles are permitted to remain in the Park outside the Park's normal operating hours without the prior express permission of the security duty manager, who retains absolute discretion as to whether such permission is granted.
• From time-to-time Crealy Theme Park & Resort or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording at the Park, which may feature visitors. By entering the Park, you consent to us photographing or filming you and using the resulting pictures for any promotional purpose without payment to you. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed please contact the Ticket Office upon arrival that will be able to advise you further.
• Vehicles are parked at owner's risk. Crealy Theme Park & Resort do not take any responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle using the car park. You park at your own risk; we do not guarantee the security of your vehicle and/or its contents.
• Height, age, and weight restrictions apply to many of the attractions. 

realy Theme Park & Resort reserves the right to refuse entry to the Park if the daily capacity for visitors at the Park is reached and/or exceeded.

Children under the age of 16 years will not be permitted admission to Crealy Theme Park & Resort Theme Park & Resort unless by an adult aged 18 years or over. Any child whilst in the Park must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times.

Crealy Theme Park & Resort operates a ZERO tolerance policy when it comes inappropriate, undesirable, unacceptable behaviour and reserves the right to refuse admission to the Park, ban future entry into the Park, or remove from the Park without right to refund.

Crealy Theme Park & Resort have the right to refuse entry of adult groups into the Theme Park, please note this does not include all adult groups who are accompanied by an enabler or carer with the appropriate documentation (this information can be found on our accessibility page).

Crealy Theme Park & Resort offers family-based experiences which attract children and young people. We are committed to creating an environment which ensures all children can enjoy themselves in a safe and secure environment that prevents children being at risk from any form of harm or abuse. 

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is predominately an outdoor attraction. Some rides and attractions can be affected by the weather and may close during extreme weather conditions such as high winds or very heavy rain.

During periods of heavy rain some rides may be suspended including:

• The Twister rollercoaster
• The Vortex water coasters
• The Jolly Roger pirate boat
• Junior Driving school
• Crealy Grand Prix

The following rides and attractions will close during periods of high winds:

• The Twister rollercoaster
• The Flying Machine
• The Honey Swing
• The Flying Dutchman
• Maximus rollercoaster

The following rides and attractions will close during periods thunder & lightning

Due to industry standard health & safety operating procedures, the following rides will close in the presence of thunder and lightning. These rides will usually re-open after a successful 20 minute ‘clear’ period. The safety of our guests is our number one priority – please be assured that we are constantly monitoring weather conditions and will reopen rides when it is safe to do so.

We offer concession tickets to any guests who the following applies:

• OAP’s.
• Police/Fire/NHS workers.
• Carers (any guest, over the age of 18, accompanying a disabled guest on a 1 to 1 ratio).
• Armed forces.

Guests will need to show proof of eligibility for these tickets. Proof can include any of the following:

• OAP’s: Driver’s licence, passport, OAP bus pass.
• Police/Fire/NHS workers: Blue Light card; work ID along photographic ID; payslip (stating they work for one of the services).
• Carers: carers card: MAX card, DLA, PIP, access card with the carers symbol, disability card (if using DLA/PIP/disability card, guest with disability must be present and have a full paying ticket).
• Armed forces: armed forces ID; Defence Service discount card.

The Police/Fire/NHS/Armed forces discount is available for the yourself and one another guest (x2 discounted tickets per transaction).

All you will need to do is bring your proof to the Ticket Office on arrival to Crealy. You can pay for tickets at the gate however you will need to pay gate price & we do not have any concessions on the gate.

• Please examine your ticket immediately upon receipt as mistakes cannot be rectified on the day of admission.
• Ticket should be presented at the ticket office to gain entry to the Park.
• Replacements for lost tickets will not be issued and there will be no refunds for unused tickets.
• Some rides have height, age and health restrictions for safety reasons. See website for details.Visitors are reminded that for technical, operational, weather or for any other reasons, any attraction, ride or facility may be altered, closed, removed or be otherwise unavailable at any time without prior notice.
• Limited opening times of some attractions & rides will operate during certain periods of the year.
• Photo copied tickets will not be accepted
• This ticket is not for resale and is non-refundable, has NO cash value.
• All normal terms and conditions of entry to Crealy Theme Park & Resort apply. Please refer to our website for our full Terms and Conditions.

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is a non-smoking park. There is one designated smoking area on the park.  The Dome behind the Carousel this is the only area where smoking / Vaping is allowed. All requests for charitable support must be e-mailed to fun@crealy.co.uk at least 6 weeks prior to the event. The e-mail must contain details of the event itself (including times, dates, and locations), the cause, the person requesting and there must be a telephone number and postal address included also. Please also explain to us briefly why you feel we should support your event.

Please note that Crealy Theme Park & Resort does not give financial sponsorship towards any organisation – we only give tickets as raffle prizes to selected charitable causes. Your request for assistance will be reviewed in line with the other requests we have received, and we will donate tickets where possible, however – whilst we try our best to support as many good causes as possible over the course of the year – please note that this cannot be guaranteed for all events.

• A Crealy Theme Park & Resort Gift Card can be redeemed for full or part payment against Theme Park entry, annual passes, and purchases at all the Resort’s food and retail outlets.
• Gift Cards will be treated as cash – lost, stolen or damaged cards cannot be replaced.
• A Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash and no change or refunds will be given.
• Gift Cards will expire 18 months after the date of purchase – any remaining balances will not be refunded.
• The minimum single amount to be preloaded load on to a Crealy Theme Park & Resort Gift Card is £5.
• Provided a Gift Card has not expired any remaining balances can be used against future purchases.
• The balance (£) remaining on any Gift Card can be checked at any time either by:
• Presenting the Gift Card at the main Ticket Office. The Gift Card will be scanned and receipt showing the remaining balances and expiry date will be returned to the card holder. Or by calling our Call centre with the Gift Card number.
• Only original Gift Cards will be accepted On-Park. No paper copies or digital images presented on a mobile device will be accepted under any circumstances.
• Crealy Gift cards can be purchased either over the telephone or whilst at the park.
• The management reserve the right to withdraw the Crealy Theme Park & Resort gift card service without any prior notice.
• Sales of Crealy Theme Park & Resort Gift Cards are made, managed, and fulfilled by Crealy Theme Park & Resort - a trading name of Maximum Fun LTD. Sidmouth Road, Clyst St Mary, Devon, EX5 1DR.
• Crealy Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with this card.
• Gift Card quantities should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately.
• The re-sale of Gift Cards sold via this website is strictly prohibited.
• Crealy Gift Cards cannot be used against any online purchases and are only usable at Crealy Theme Park & Resort Facilities.

• Maximum 2 people (this includes supervising adults) 
• Minimum child age is 6 years old. 
• Children under 16 must have a supervising adult 
• Please arrive 10 mins prior to the experience. 
• Any medical, behavioural, allergies, mobility or other conditions that may affect your time during the experience need to be declared in advance. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate these this may not always be possible 
• Pregnant women, nursing mothers and severely immunocompromised people will be unable to take part in the experience 
• The cost of the experience only covers the participants, any additional family or friends are welcome to watch from outside the enclosure but will not be able to participate in the experience 
• PPE such as gloves, masks, hand sanitiser will be provided as and when necessary 
• Instructions from our keepers must be followed at all times. Failure to follow instructions, endangering yourself or others or compromising animal welfare will result in the experience being terminated with immediate effect 
• Whilst we aim to provide you a range of animals to work with during your experience we cannot guarantee you will be able to work with a particular animal or species on the day 
• Please do not try to touch or hold any of our animals, unless you have been given permission by a keeper 
• Never enter an animal enclosure without permission, or any other non public areas unless you are with a keeper 
• No food or drink to be consumed during the experience  
• We reserve the right to cancel the experience in the event of extreme weather or animal health/welfare reasons. An alternative date or refund will be offered in this instance 
• Experience will start promptly at your given time. Missed experiences will be non refundable 

• Maximum 4 people (this includes supervising adults) 
• Child minimum age 6 years old 
• Children under 16 must have a supervising adult. 
• Experienced can be removed at any time. 
• Although this experience involves getting up close and feeding our meerkats, at no time will you be holding or touching them 
• Any medical, behavioural, allergies, mobility or other conditions that may affect your time during the experience need to be declared in advance. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate these this may not always be possible 
• Pregnant women, nursing mothers and severely immunocompromised people will be unable to take part in the experience

Please note, queue jumping is not accepted on the Theme Park. People who do so may be asked to leave the Theme Park immediately. 

Upgrading your day ticket to an Annual Pass    

• Any ticket purchased through Crealy Theme Park & Resort such as at admission gate, online or through the Call Centre will be able to upgrade to a Crealy Annual Pass. The cost that will be deducted off the Crealy Annual Pass will be the amount that you purchased your ticket for. As an example, if you purchased a ticket for £21.95 it will be taken off your Crealy Annual Pass. This is available on full paying Annual Passes and direct debit Annual Passes.  
• If your entry tickets are complimentary tickets or purchased through a 3rd party, you will not be eligible to upgrade.  
• Please note we are only able to upgrade you on the day of your first visit to Crealy Theme Park & Resort and once you have left the Theme Park we cannot upgrade. 

General Annual Pass T&C’s 

• Valid Annual Passes must be presented at the turnstiles to gain entry.
• To set up a direct debit, a £30 deposit will be required. This will come off the total cost of your Annual Pass. Lost, stolen or forgotten Annual Passes can be replaced after a security check for a fee of £1 per Annual Pass.
• Annual Passes are not interchangeable, refundable, or transferable.
• To cancel a direct debit, contact us via email (fun@crealy.co.uk) or letter up to 28 days before your contract is due to renew. Please note, once you have set up your direct debit, you will not be able to cancel it mid contract.
• Annual passes that are paid in full are non-refundable in total or in part under any circumstances.
• General Park terms and conditions apply to all Annual Pass holders. To view these use this link 
• Crealy management reserve the right to cancel, refuse any application for an annual pass, renewal or to withdraw any annual pass at any time without giving any reason.
• Some attractions and events are not included in the Annual Pass price, for which a discounted rate if offered to attend.
• Crealy Theme Park & Resort reserve the right to contact you in relation to service information including, but not limited to, information to these terms and conditions of use, expiry and/or renewal reminders. If you do not wish to receive this information, you will have the option to unsubscribe.
• Price for life is only valid if an annual pass is renewed before their expiry date, or if the direct debit is not cancelled or referred.
• Discount for the Christmas at Crealy event is applicable to Platinum and Gold Annual Pass holders only.

Platinum terms and conditions  

• Valid for 12 months

• Unlimited entry to the Theme Park during opening hours

• Anyone who is staying on the 2 nights free camping break must have a valid annual pass. For anyone staying that is not a Platinum Annual Pass Holder, they will be charged a fee of £10 per person. This does not include Theme Park Entry.

• Unlimited entry during Theme Park hours 
• Valid 12 months from purchase 
• It does not matter if the child goes over 100cm during this period, we will only recheck the height when their Mini Annual Pass is due for renewal

• Senior Annual Passes can only be purchased in full for any adult over the age of 60

  Direct Debit terms and conditions 

• I understand that I am signing an Annual (12 month) agreement paid by 10 monthly instalments and that this agreement cannot be cancelled during this period.
• I understand that I agree with collections being made from the account details supplied on the 5th of each month, and that no other alternative processing days will be offered 
• I understand that should the Direct Debit instruction be cancelled, or should I fail to make a direct debit instalment prior to completion of the 12 month period that: 
  
  (a) I will not be offered the opportunity to continue as a direct debit Annual Pass Holder
  (b) All Annual Pass Holders attached to the said bank account will immediately forfeit their Annual Pass Holder benefits including access to the Park and Annual Pass Holder discount schemes
  (c) The full outstanding balance, including any missed instalments, for the unexpired 12 month period will become immediately due for payment 
  (d) I understand that it is my responsibility to keep Crealy informed of any change to my contract or bank account details, and that no refunds will be made by Crealy because of my not doing. 
  
  Pre-School Annual Pass Terms & Conditions 
   
• Can be purchased in full at the Theme Park 
• Valid for 1 adult & 1 child under 5 years old 
• Unlimited entry during our midweek off-peak dates only 
• 10% discount on retail, food & drink purchases 
• Valid from 12 months of purchase 
• Not eligible for price for life 
• Does not include entry on weekends, during the Devon school holidays or discount to Christmas at Crealy event 

Upgrading your day ticket to an Annual Pass

• All Annual Passes purchased prior to the 1^{st of} August 2020 were reduced by 25% to reflect changes to the Annual Pass benefits caused by disruption of the business throughout the pandemic, this included reduced opening hours, reduced availability of facilities and removal of Christmas Spectacular tickets from Platinum Annual pass holders. The discount was applied to Annual Pass Holders price for life.
• Discount for the Christmas at Crealy event is applicable to Platinum and Gold Annual Pass holders only.
• Annual Pass holders will receive 10% discount on all Sooty merchandise. 

Platinum terms and conditions 

• 25% discount is valid on all park purchases. Please note that this is not valid on alcohol purchases or in conjunction with any other offers.
• 2 nights free Crealy Meadows camping stay can be booked by the annual pass holder via our Crealy Meadows Team on – 01395 234888. Please note this can only be used outside of the Devon school holidays and not during Bank Holidays, subject to availability and one break per annual pass holder.
• Anyone who is staying on the 2 nights free camping break must have a valid annual pass. For anyone staying that is not a Platinum Annual Pass Holder, they will be charged a fee of £10 per person. This does not include Theme Park Entry.

Mini terms and conditions 

• Mini annual passes can only be purchased in full for any child between the 92cm and 100cm.
• Mini annual pass holders can only gain entrance to the theme park alongside a full paying adult, or an annual pass holder over the age of 18.  
• Mini Annual Pass holders can gain unlimited entry during our park opening times. 
• Mini Annual Passes are valid for 12 months from purchase.  

 It does not matter if the child goes over the 100cm during this period, we will only recheck their height when their Mini Annual Pass is due for renewal.  

Please observe the 5mph speed limit. We value your cooperation in keeping the noise down between 10pm & 7am. If we find guests breaking these rules, we will ask you to leave the Resort immediately and no refund will be given. Smoking is not permitted in any of our Glamping units or Lodges or inside any of our buildings on the Resort. If we find you have been smoking within the listed areas, then a cleaning fee of £50.00 will be charged to you. Unlicensed motorised vehicles e.g., quads or micro scooters are not permitted. No lorries, commercial vehicles or converted vehicles are allowed onto our park without prior arrangement. The launching of Chinese lanterns or fireworks is strictly prohibited. Fires are not permissible however our guests are welcome to enjoy barbecues provided they are raised off the grass and are suitably sited and attended so they are not a hazard to other guests. Parents/Guardians will be always responsible for their children. Young children must be always accompanied to the toilet/shower facilities. Children must not play in or around the toilet/shower facilities. Please notify our reception immediately when calling out any emergency services. Crealy are not held responsible for inclement weather and for personal items/equipment that maybe damaged because of this. Crealy also reserves the right to cancel any holiday due to inclement weather and should you terminate your holiday because of this then no refund will be given. Crealy does not accept any liability whatsoever for loss, damage, accident or injury to persons, property or personal belongings however caused during your stay. Please note, no inflatable swimming pools are allowed. 

- You must be over the age of 18 years.
- You will be a member occupying our accommodation or pitch.
- For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- You are not an all adult booking.
- You agree to our accommodation rental agreement.

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm and reserve your holiday.

Your remaining balance is due 56 days prior to your arrival date. It is your responsibility to contact us to arrange payment for the balance of your holiday. If your balance is not paid within the 56 days of your arrival date, then we reserve the right to cancel your holiday without warning and your deposit will be held by us.

All bookings are non-transferable.
We are a family resort; we do not accept all adult bookings.
All booking amendments must be made 7 days prior to your arrival date.
Minimum of 2-night stay is applicable on all Lodges and Glamping accommodation with a maximum stay of 7 nights.
Minimum of 2 nights stay is applicable on Camping and Touring stays with a maximum of 7 nights.
Access to Crealy Theme Park & Resort is charged per person at the time of booking (this excludes our Stay and Play offer).
Unlimited Theme Park tickets are valid for maximum of 7 nights (stays longer will require tickets to be repurchased).
Theme Park opening times may vary during the year, please check our theme park opening times to avoid disappointment.
For persons under 92cm in height, entry is free into our Theme Park.
Please note we can only accept 1 tent/caravan or motor home per pitch. There must be a 6metre (20 foot) gap left in between for Fire & Safety reasons.

While you're here, our Resort comes with an exciting calendar of evening entertainment during the Devon school holidays, so you can carry the fun on into the night! Evening entertainment includes Bonkers Bingo, Quizzes, themed game nights plus a whole lot more, as well as heading to the Theme Park (selected dates only). Themed entertainment is also offered on selected weekend breaks throughout the year. Please note evening entertainment can be subject to change from what's advertised.

While we can't guarantee specific pitches, we're dedicated to fulfilling special requests whenever possible.

Check-in for all Lodges and Glamping is at 4:30pm on the day of your arrival. Camping & Touring check in is from 12pm on the day of your arrival. Check out is at 10am for Camping & Touring, Lodges and Glamping. If you need a bit more time on your departure day, a late departure option may be available, please speak to the team when you are here to discuss this further.

We trust our guests to maintain clean, tidy accommodations, leaving them just as they found them. We ask that you behave in a way which does not break any law and not to use the accommodation for any illegal or commercial purpose. The lead name on the booking is responsible for all guests staying at the accommodation and the things they do. You are responsible for and agree to reimburse to Crealy Meadows and us all costs incurred because of any breakage or damage in or to the accommodation which is caused by you or any members of your party or any other persons invited into the accommodation by you. Crealy Meadows can ask for an extra payment from you to cover any such costs. Open fires are not permissible however our guests are welcome to enjoy barbecues excluding disposable provided they are raised off the grass and are suitably sited and attended so they are not a hazard to other guests. No generators are permitted on site due to fire risk and disruption to other guests.

We understand that things may not always go to plan, know that we're here to assist you through any changes or amendments. No refund will be given if your cancellation is made 56 days or less from when holiday commences. Cancellations made before 56 days from when your holiday commences will result in loss of deposit. We may cancel your holiday, we are within are right to do so if we consider your conduct or the conduct of any member of your party is likely to pose a danger or impair the safety, comfort or enjoyment of our other guests or team members or if you fail to comply with any of the terms or conditions of our agreement. Please know that if we must cancel your booking due to the above circumstance, no refund will be given.

Should we have to cancel your booking in circumstances other than those details above

A full refund or a substitute holiday if possible. If the substitute holiday were of a lower value than your original holiday, then we would reimburse you the difference of cost. However, if your substitute holiday is of a higher value then we reserve the right to charge the difference in cost between the two holidays. Unexpected circumstances beyond our control as permitted by law. If we have insufficient bookings at Crealy we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and inform you at least 7 days before your arrival date.

Please note that we do not allow pets in our accommodation, unless the pet is a fully trained support or assistance dog. If a dog is found to be staying in your accommodation, you will be fined by Crealy Theme Park & Resort. All Support or Assistance dogs must always wear their recognisable jacket the relevant paperwork must be provided upon check in. Dogs cannot be taken into any public places including washrooms, the shop, clubhouse, or Theme Park. Dogs that continually bark and/or cause a nuisance may be asked to leave the park without any refund. The Resort provides a dog walk area with suitable waste bins. Dog owners should not allow their dogs to foul public areas of the park and ensure that they always clean up after their dogs. The kennel service is free; however, a £20 cash refundable deposit is required for a padlock and key which secures the kennel. Dog owners will be required to clean out the kennel after use.
