Recruitment Assistant

Type of contract: Full time - Permanent

About the Role


Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Departmental Managers, the role will be to provide support in all aspects of the recruitment process and on-boarding journey for the Resort as a whole.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Placing job advertisements both internally and externally in a timely manner
  • Reviewing job applications and arranging interviews
  • Holding/attending interviews, as required
  • Managing all successful candidates, pre and post start process
  • Obtaining references and issuing offer letters and contracts
  • Processing contract changes and leavers on a weekly basis
  • Drafting letters and other relevant correspondence
  • Managing and running staff inductions for successful candidates (full training given)
  • Being a key part of the on-boarding process, ensuring that employee turnover is kept to a minimum
  • Attending recruitment fairs and building relationships with feeder organisations, such as local schools, colleges and universities
  • Providing HR administration support to the Departmental Managers
  • Undertaking other duties related to the business and appropriate to the post, as directed by the General Manager

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in HR/ Recruitment is essential 
  • Must be well organised and a good planner 
  • Possess clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict timelines
  • Have good I.T. Skills and be confident using MS Outlook, Word and Excel

Salary up to £25,000 depending on level of experience
