Crealy Theme Park & Resort is the South West’s largest family theme park attraction and is home to over 60 rides, attractions and live shows and zoo. Set in over 100 acres of glorious Devon countryside the business also consists of a large luxury lodge and camping resort that includes uniquely themed glamping accommodation.

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile multi skilled 'handy person' to join our maintenance team on our holiday park.

You will look after our luxury holiday accommodation and glamping units, ensuring that they are well maintained to give our guests the best holiday experience.   From touching up paintwork, fixing a broken door, mending a leaky tap or replacing damaged skirting board.  You’ll be called upon to complete a wide variety of tasks and jobs and it’s extremely important that you remain flexible and versatile around these.

Although this isn’t a full guest facing role, you will still play a vital part in delivering a fantastic guest experience and it’s important to remain friendly and approachable whenever you come in to contact with one of our guests. Given the nature of this role it’s important that you have some building maintenance experience- Whether you are a painter & decorator, a plumber, joiner, electrician or even just an all-round handy man or woman. Along with the above you’ll pride yourself on your high levels of attention to detail and safety standards. 

Being able to work under pressure and to a given time scale is important especially on our busy changeover days and in order to meet our guest service charter.  

A full driving licence is required for this role as there will be a need for you to drive the company vehicles on park.

This role requires you to be available to Mondays/Fridays and weekends,including bank holidays.  Or peak times are between March and November although we are open all year round to guests.

* Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude. 
* Display confidence in all trades
* Have a reasonable level of fitness
* Possess an ability to work independently for prolonged periods of time and as part of a larger team
* Have great communication skills
