Grounds Team Member (Mowing & Strimming)

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic seasonal grounds team member, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of the grounds and maintenance team here at Crealy Theme Park & Resort, for the 2021 season.  

The ideal candidate would have previous grounds experience and knowledge of using gardening machinery. You need to have an impressive eye for detail, a going-the-extra-mile attitude, take PRIDE in your work and enjoy working as part of a bigger team.

As part of the grounds and maintenance team you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the park, assisting the department in all day to day aspects of grass cutting, strimming and hedge trimming , in order to maintain beautiful environments for our guests.

You need to have bags of enthusiasm and energy, be responsible for taking ownership, have a strong work ethic, good communication skills and a keen, positive, friendly nature.

You must be available to work between the hours of 7am and 5pm on a 7 day week rota basis (including weekends and bank holidays) and due to the nature of the job a driving licence is essential.

Every department here at Crealy Theme Park and Resort focuses on the safety of our guests (and all team members) as a number one priority. Each role will undertake department specific Health & Safety training, alongside wider Theme Park and Resort training. 

In addition the ideal candidate will:
* Be at least 18 years old
* Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
* Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude. 
* Have a reasonable level of fitness
* Possess an ability to work independently for prolonged periods of time and as part of a larger team

You will need a full driving licence, as this role will require you to drive the company vehicles
