About Us

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is the South West's number family day out and an award winning family attraction located just minutes from junction 30 of the M5 near Exeter. Ideally suited to families with children from 2 to 12, the Park has over 60 rides and attractions set in over 100 acres of glorious Devon countryside. There are over 100 zoo and farm animals, 30 outdoor attractions and a variety of live entertainment shows and other exciting activities to choose from. About the Role

Working as part of a team of six you will assist with delivering the park’s daily entertainment and events programme. You will be required to rehearse and perform in our programme of daily live shows, meet & greet activities, character events and park mascot appearances, on and in the 4 performance areas across the park. You will also be hosting the evening entertainment programme for our resort holiday guests.

No day is the same, you could be performing in character costume or presenting a show on stage or in an arena or you may even be broadcasting live on our Crealy Radio Station.  You would be required to work with the rest of the team to create engaging products and learn choreography, scripts and direction.  You may also run an activity session as part of th Crealy Active programme and successfully interact with fuest of the resort throughout the peak holiday season.

The summer season contract dates are 13th July 2020 - 5th September 2020  (although there is an option to also work with us during our Halloween and Christmas Events too)

Showcase Auditions and Job Interviews will be held on Tuesday 4th February 2020 at 10am - 4.00pm

About You

You will be happy to get stuck into all elements of the Entertainments Department and perform with enthusiasm and energy at all times.  You will have had some previous holiday park entertainment or similar performing experience.

Ideally you will have previous experience as a performer working with tracks and characters and some dance experience is preferred but not necessary.  

You will be flexible, friendly and approachable with  a 'can do', team player attitude and have a great eye for detail and strive to provide excellent guest experiences. Ideally you will have a basic to good understanding of small sound and light systems.  You must be available to work for the whole summer season and able to work bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
