Angela Wright, MBE, Managing Director of Crealy, recognises the potential of linking the innovative Roundabout PlayPumps with visitor attractions.

" We installed Pilot PlayPumps in Attractions last year as a pilot study in our two Parks. The response has been amazing - with visting children and families so thrilled with such a simple solution to the challenge of clean water! Our staff, guests and community love the project - Park PR presence, Park footfall and Park revenues are all increased too. And best of all, through staff, supplier and guest donations we've installed a Roundabout PlayPump in Mozambique - the 850th PlayPump to be installed - which has brought free, clean water to 2,500 people".

Angela Wright reports that some of the worlds top water parks and parks have signed up in principle to installing in 2008. "We are currently compiling an "in principle list" of keynote Attractions who are participating from 2008, in order to bring this to the attention of global corporate sponsors and plan for maximum exposure. The Roundabout PlayPumps in Attractions Project is endorsed by the International Assocation for Peace through Tourism, IAAPA's international partner.

Over half of the worlds population do not have access to clean water. The United Nations have pledged to change this within the next 10 years during the Water for Life decade.

One Water, the official water of Live8 and Make Poverty History, supports Roundabout PlayPumps as part of its fund raising for water charities, specialising in water and sanitation projects in the developing world.
