Cornwall’s Crealy sponsor Wadebridge Town FC Cornwall’s
Crealy have been named as season sponsors of Wadebridge Town Football Club.
The family attraction, between Wadebridge and Newquay has sponsored placements at the football ground and will be working with the community football club in 2008.
Wadebridge town football club are a fast developing F.A charter standard community club, with 4 senior teams, including one ladies team along side 16 youth teams ranging in age from 7 to 16 years of age. The football club also runs a development centre for
50 children on a Saturday morning where Wadebridge Town FC players help youngsters improve their skills. Three of the players recently joined Plymouth Argyle.
The club also runs Soccer Tots for 30 children aged 4 to 6 years old, between May and July.
David Wright, one of the family owners of Cornwall’s Crealy said, “We are delighted to sponsor Wadebridge Town Football Club. The football club provides a vital role in the local community for all ages. They hold coaching sessions in schools and at the club itself, and develops new coaches constantly striving to raise standards.
“Cornwall’s Crealy recognises the efforts of everyone at Wadebridge Town FC and felt that supporting their work is a very worth cause as, like Cornwall’s Crealy, the football club ultimately wants everyone of all ages to play safe and have fun!”

James Ross of Wadebridge Town FC said, “Wadebridge Town FC is currently second in our league and we hope to win promotion to the top league this year. We have fantastic facilities, for which we were awarded the Cornwall Senior Cup. Sponsorship like this with Cornwall’s Crealy will help us achieve our ambitions and continue to provide facilities, coaching and of course, entertaining football for our local community.
