Where's Dina at the Devon County Show?

WIN WIN WIN!!!!

If you plan to visit the Devon County Show this week - Thursday, Friday or Saturday - pop in and see us! We're in a blue and white stripey tent along Road 12 on your right if you come through the Brown Main Pedestrian entrance - we're opposite Gemini FM near the Police stand!

It would be great to meet you - plus you can cuddle the friendliest animals, see Crealy Bear or maybe Dina and of course meet the Rangers! Plus you enter the competition to win a Crealy Membership by guessing the number of Dina's in the box!

Also - while you're strolling around the Show look out for little Dina's at other stands! Find all five, enter the competition at our stand and 5 lucky winners will win a goody bag each brimming with Crealy fun, including a day ticket for 2 people!

Come and see our cute new foal - with one blue eye!

The long-awaited photo is finally here - check out our stunning new foal which has stopped every guest in their tracks over the past few days - he is usually in the paddock by the Giftshop with his mummy!

Hurry up and visit soon or he'll grow before you know it!

Meet our newest foal!

Hyacinth, a piebald Miniature Shetland has had the cutest foal we've seen this year!

The colt (boy!) foal was born last night and is a beautiful grey and white piebald with one blue eye - just like his mum! You can also see his picture in the Western Morning News over the next day or so!

We're having a naming competition - the name must begin with 'N' to mark 2008 as his year of birth! Enter your suggestion next time you're here!

Spider-Man, Spider-Man...and false alarms!

Bank Holiday Monday, May 5, 2008


Well, thanks to all the Spider-Kids who came to climb, leap and jump along with Spider-Man! What a GREAT day on bank holiday Sunday!

Today started early for me and Kate (Animal Farm Manager) when we were paged by the new foaling alarm at 5.30am! We have two mares due to foal any day - Hyacinth the piebald Shetland and Fern (Inferno) our home-bred Dartmoor. Needless to say it was a false alarm - but we enjoyed having the Park to ourselves and getting a head start on the day. Look out for Hyacinth and Fern when you're in - and listen out for the patter of tiny hooves! The foaling alarm is really clever - it fits onto the headcoller and pages our 'phones when the mares lie down flat - so we're waiting to see if Hyacinth will foal later today.

Spider-Man is arriving at Devon's Crealy this Sunday at 10.30am! Although he's here all day, we wanted to make sure you all got to see him for as long as possible so we're opening early! Gates open at 9am!

Furry friends

Where has the time gone? It has been so exciting at Crealy over the past few weeks that the time has just flown by!

So WELCOME TO THE SUMMER!

Let's fill you in...we've had lots of fun, lots of sun and met lots of new friends!
Easter was M'Egga fun - we met Dora the Explorer, Dylan from The Magic Roundabout and hunted for tens of thousands of eggs!

In April we welcomed some very cute four legged friends with two fluffy foals and then at the end of last week we celebrated the birth of triplet goat kids - the first time in 3 years - they have stolen the limelight with photos in the Express and Echo and Western Morning News this weekend!

At Cornwall's Crealy visitors have braved The Beast - which we're very proud to say is Cornwall's only 50 ft drop tower ride! They also learnt how to walk on water with our new Water Walkers - great fun and also unique to the South West!

Visitors to Devon's Crealy have been spoilt for choice with 3 new ride experiences to enjoy - Battle of the Bears, the Meteorite and the improved Tidal Wave Terror with new tunnel drop!

Can Crealy possibly get even better I hear you ask? Well...visit Devon's Crealy on Sunday 4th May and you will get to see everyone's favourite superhero!

For the first time ever in the South West of England, Spiderman is coming to meet his fans! Have a Great Half-Term Holiday!

Hi - and I hope you're having a great time during these Fun-Filled February Halfterm Holidays! We had one of our monthly Crealy Creators' meetings at the Park today - our junior Board (ages 7 through 12) are SO brilliant - definitely some budding Bransons amongst them. The other best things this week? Meeting a perfect two-week old baby rabbit today with Kate, Crealy's Animal Realm Manager - and one of our team saying he's learnt more with us in less than a year than in the rest of his working life. Oh - and agreeing the 2008 summer menus - yum! It takes a lot of exceptional people amongst our team of Rangers to deliver the uniquely Crealy real magic and safe adventures - that's the biggest fun of all, for me.
